Is this true?

I know the arguement of bottle vs tap water but this is a new one on me..

I recieved this yesterday and am still trying to find if there is any truth to it…

Bottled water in your car…..very dangerous, woman!!!!
This is how Sheryl Crow got breast cancer. She was on the Ellen show and
Said this same exact thing. This has been identified as the most common
Cause of the high levels in breast cancer, especially in Australia .

A friend whose mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The
Doctor told her: women should not drink bottled water that has been left in a Car.

The doctor said that the heat and the plastic of the bottle have certain
Chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. So please be careful and do
Not Drink bottled water that has been left in a car, and, pass this on to
All the women in your life. This information is the kind we need to know and
Be aware and just might save us!!!! The heat causes toxins from the plastic
To leak into the water and they have found these toxins in breast tissue.
Use a stainless steel Canteen or a glass bottle when you can!!!

So in the interest of public health and questioning the things around us….

Does anyone know for sure please do tell

or is it a ‘well dont do it just in case’ sort of deal?

  1. It is true, but only over a long period of time. Plastic bottles degrade over a long period of time- by the time you’ve kept a bottle for around three months, it starts to release a dangerous amount of chemicals into it’s contents. Heat speeds this process up, and cold slows it down. Try this for yourself- if you have an old plastic bottle, put water in it, put it somewhere warm or hot and leave it for a while. Then compare the taste of the water to tap water. Depending on how old the bottle is and how long you left it, it will taste accordingly bad. If you find the bottle convenient, you HAVE to get new ones after a while, or get one of the non-disposable variety.

  2. But I forgot to mention- it has nothing to do with breast cancer, It’s just very bad for you if you constantly drink out of old bottles. Cancer has absolutely nothing to do with it.
